Horizon 2020 is the new 2014-2020 European program to finance research activities and funds destined for innovation and competitiveness of the European entrepreneurial fabric, including from 2017 also Switzerland.
The budget allocated for Horizon 2020 up to 31 December 2020 is € 78.6 billion. From this very important endowment of funds, around 2.7 billion euros are allocated to the SME Instrument (specific instrument to finance SMEs research).
